30 Nov Adam
Adam is a very sweet 4 year old boy who really likes to sign, dance, count numbers and building anything! He wants to be a firefighter someday. Adam was recently diagnosed with moderate hearing loss in both ears. It was suspected that Adam’s hearing loss would impact his development making it more difficult to understand speech especially in settings like a classroom or where background noise was present. To make sure Adam is able to develop the best communication skills possible; his family asked if Variety would help purchase his behind-the-ear style hearing aids. Adam’s older brother is living with Autism and his parents are only able to work part-time to ensure they can take care of both their children. With his new hearing aids, Adam can hear the world around him including the loud cheers of the crowd at the Moose Game Variety was able to send him to.
